Just 2 years ago, The Sun Times News engaged the talents of young graphic artists from Creekside Intermediate in Dexter. Several businesses in the Dexter area signed up to have ads created for them, and multiple students submitted entries for each business. The proprietors got to choose which one they liked the most, and we printed those designs. All of the kids did a great job, but only one ad was selected to be printed. 
We have run the same project again this year, and even more businesses have signed up. In 2021, 41 Dexter establishments took part. This year, 72 different businesses supported this unique project and we engaged over 110 students. Teachers Jane Webby and Amy Robke took the lead in this project, while also inviting students from the other classes to be included. Once again, businesses got to pick the ad they liked the most to be printed in this issue.
